June’s Updates & Developments

We want to take a few minutes to update you on recent developments for Two Rivers Classical Academy.

Student Enrollment

We are thrilled and humbled to see all the parents and students joining us this fall! We have exceeded our initial enrollment goals, and we have turned our focus toward delivering and developing the vision of TRCA.

If you are still hoping to enroll your student for this fall, we encourage you to apply as soon as possible. Today we still have a few openings in each classroom (Kindergarten through 7th Grade); however, once those spots are filled, we will move to a wait-list system for student admissions.

Teaching Faculty

Our faculty is nearly complete! We’re pulling together a few final details, and later this week we plan to introduce TRCA’s first teacher line-up. As we look at the teachers God is bringing together, we are grateful and humbled by how He has led us to an “all-star” team! We are truly amazed by the depth and diversity of experiences that our faculty represent — and how we see them coming together to deliver the TRCA vision. Please pray for our teachers!

We’re still looking for substitute teachers and teachers’ associates for this year. And our focus will soon turn to planning for next year, so if you’ve contemplated sending us your resume, please do! 

Start-Up Funding

We have a number of special start-up projects we’d love to fund over the summer to set up our first academic year with all the things that make teaching and learning fun! Could you help by making a donation? Do you know someone who would be excited to support this great new education option in Des Moines? Please contact us for details about helping with a number of projects from our teacher resource library to our technology and special equipment wish-lists.
